What's going on? Why am I here? And why is everything so dang bright?

GET OUT is a puzzle game inspired by Superliminal and The Corridor. Navigate through each room's puzzle and get to the end. It is a short experience, but has multiple endings.

Very fun lil puzzle game. Last room almost gave me a headache though

Yeah I understand that it can be disorienting. Appreciate you checking it out though <3

Solving puzzles to move forward was so much fun! And the sudden horror elements genuinely scared me, meow!

my playthrough

Thanks so much for playing! I love your playthrough, your avatar is very cute <3

I'm so lost on the do not press, can anyone help me please??

The best hint I can give is that one involves wordplay and a certain perspective.

Wow. I really enjoyed playing this game and it fits the theme so well. Definitely recommend you to develop this game further!

I went "down," and now I know why everyone is shouting for help!

I love the minimalist design. It actually is a strange place! I also didn't dare to look down :'( Cause it told me not to! I love how people can come up with original games like this! It's totally different from the bloodvessel racer i've been making this week xD

very interesting stanley parable-ish

(+1)

Excellent! This reminded me a little of Stanley Parable, but very minimal. Super fun!

Scratched my brain

Woah.

pure genius. wonderful minimalist aesthetic

i've gotten 2 endings but now im suddenly stuck on the do not press level

Are you experiencing a bug? The solution doesn’t change between runs, assuming you’ve gotten past it before.

Yeah it was a bug, it worked when i refreshed the page. But i still couldn't find the 3rd ending tho (i already found the normal ending and the one in the security footage room)

That one is a little more hidden tbf. A lil bit deeper.

Now i just have to get it. Also there is a little visual glitch (i think you'd know, but just to be sure) when you turn the 'this is up' room after you took the elevator, you can see the elevator clipping through the wall. Thought you might wanna know before the jam ended, unless this is a part of some puzzle im too dumb to see lol

Oh yeah that’s a bug. I thought I fixed it though. Would you be able to refresh and confirm if it’s still happening?

YES I GOT IT

WOO 🥳🎉

wait there's an ending there?

this a story about a man named stanley...

Is the view supposed to constantly drift down and right, or is something wrong on my end?

That might be something on your end, but if you’re able to recreate it on other devices let me know and I can look into it

This happened to me too. I was playing on firefox if that helps.

Thanks for the confirmation. I believe Firefox isn’t ideal for Godot web games at least on itch, based on past experience. Would you be able to confirm if it happens on Chrome or Edge on your same setup?

I cant't confirm chrome but I can confirm it does NOT happen on edge.

After looking into it, it seems to be a common Firefox issue for Godot web builds, mouse behavior is not accurately captured when not in full screen. I believe if you play in full screen it should resolve itself. Apologies that there’s no other workaround.

I should have mentioned I use Firefox, it plays fine in Edge

Incredible idea, very creative and very well implemented. I love this type of games. When the Jam finishes I'm going to play it more.

Cool game!! The puzzles were pretty creative :D

Edit: Saw in the comments that there's multiple endings, just got em, made the game even cooler!! :D The last one had me wandering and wondering if there was something specific to do or if that was it, but I figured it out, very clever :D

I’m glad you found the endings! I was worried they might too weird so it’s really great to hear that praise <3

(+1)

This is so fun!! The puzzles are really satisfying to work out! The other comment about endings is perplexing me though... I've only found two and now I'm wondering what I'm missing!!

Tysm for the kind words <3 the third one is… even further down. If that helps ;)

YES YES IT DID I GOT IT

YAYYY 🥳🎉

Stuck on the "do not press" puzzle

(+1)

Fantastic, The "do not look" puzzle was my favorite

(1 edit) (+1)

Damn I think I'm a bot, the do not press room has beaten me.. Edit  I have beaten it, such smart puzzles i love it

(+2)

Haha, this made me smile <3 thanks for sticking with it!

amazing game

(+1)

Spoilers!

The black room with the red and white text counts as an ending, right? If so, then there must be three endings to this game!

(+1)

Correct! :)

(+3)

it's easy to see the inspiration from superliminal!! i hadn't read that and after the first finish was going to comment on it. fantastic game inspired by one of my personal favorites; i look forward to more!!

(+2)

Thanks so much :) I’m such a fan of games that play with perception so the comparison is very rewarding <3 I’m glad you enjoyed it!

A nice little fun experience that plays a lot with different mechanics. I'd love to see more of this with each element being a bit more developed!

this is so cool, me like

Excellent game !
